    On the occasion of Ugadi, a special food donation program (Annadanam) was organized for devotees walking to the Sri Mallikarjuna Swamy temple in Srisailam. The event was held at Sri Sri Sri Digambaraswamy Devasthanam in Balgera village, Gattu Mandal, Jogulamba Gadwal district.

    Basu Hanumantu Naidu, a leader from the BRS Party, along with local villagers, started the Annadanam program. He personally served food to devotees from Karnataka who were on their pilgrimage to Srisailam. Before the event, he performed special pujas in front of Lord Shiva’s portrait, seeking blessings for the devotees.

    Speaking at the event, Basu Hanumantu Naidu shared his happiness in serving the pilgrims. He said that offering food to devotees brings deep spiritual satisfaction. He also prayed for a safe and peaceful journey for all those taking part in the Padayatra (pilgrimage on foot).

    Many devotees walking to Srisailam, along with local villagers, participated in the event. The program created a spiritually uplifting atmosphere for everyone involved.
