Hyderabad saw a significant gathering of BRS leaders and supporters at BRKR Bhavan. They were there to back their leader, K Chandrashekar Rao (KCR), during his appearance before the Kaleshwaram Commission on Wednesday.

Police set up strong security around the area. Many senior party members, including MLAs and MLCs, arrived early. Some waited on the road for about an hour before KCR entered the Bhavan. Inside, he spent 50 minutes responding to the PC Ghose Commission.

KT Rama Rao (KTR), the BRS working president, addressed the media. He accused Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy of using the inquiry to distract people from unfulfilled election promises. KTR mentioned that the Kaleshwaram project has 100 parts, with only one pillar out of 87 damaged. He suggested Congress might have been involved and claimed these were plots by Congress and BJP.

KTR accused Revanth Reddy of shifting focus to issues like Formula E and phone tapping to divert public attention. He assured that the party would keep questioning these tactics, and KCR would answer all inquiries.

KTR emphasized KCR’s contributions, stating he made Telangana a thriving, green state. He argued that if Kaleshwaram was built abroad, KCR would have been widely celebrated for his work. Instead, in India, political rivalries downplay such accomplishments.

KTR criticized Revanth Reddy, calling him a “petty and incompetent CM.” He claimed Revanth focused more on revenge than governance, often needing guidance from Delhi for decisions. KTR also reminded everyone of Revanth’s past scandals, accusing him of misusing power for personal vendettas.

KTR expressed confidence that truth would ultimately win. He warned that if KCR faced harassment, the people of Telangana would react. He concluded by praising KCR for giving Telangana its unique identity and prosperity.
