    BRS leaders attempt to disqualify Danam, but fail to meet Speaker

    In Hyderabad, BRS leaders were upset because their party MLA joined the Congress party. They tried to meet with the Telangana Legislative Speaker Gaddam Prasad to file a disqualification petition, but couldn’t because the Speaker wasn’t available.

    The BRS MLAs Padi Kaushik Reddy, Maganti Gopinath, Kaleru Venkatesh, Mutha Gopal had an appointment with Speaker Prasad Kumar at 6 pm. However, they alleged that the Speaker didn’t meet them until 8 pm and didn’t answer their calls because he wasn’t home.

    After waiting for two and a half hours at the Speaker’s residence, the BRS MLAs left. MLA Padi Kaushik Reddy expressed disappointment that the Speaker didn’t meet them despite their appointment. He believed that the Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy’s pressure prevented the Speaker from meeting them. The BRS leaders planned to try again to submit a petition to disqualify Danam Nagender.
