BRS Committed to Public Welfare, Says Vinay Bhaskar
Warangal: The Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) party has always prioritized the welfare of the people, according to former Chief Whip D. Vinay Bhaskar. Speaking at a party meeting in Hanumakonda on Sunday, Vinay highlighted the various welfare and developmental programs introduced by the party under the leadership of Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR). These initiatives, he said, were aimed at empowering the underprivileged sections of society.
Vinay further explained that during the earlier BRS government, significant work was undertaken to improve internal roads, drainage systems, and electricity supply in backward colonies across the city. He criticized the current Congress government, accusing it of disrupting the lives of the poor. He alleged that Congress had issued notices to residents with valid patta papers, creating unnecessary hardships for them.
In a separate event, Vinay Bhaskar and former Speaker Sirikonda Madhusudhana Chary honored former MLC Madireddy Srinivas Reddy and his wife. Srinivas Reddy, a retired professor from Mamnoor, has been a long-time associate of KCR and previously served as the in-charge of Telangana Bhavan in Hyderabad for over two decades.
Several prominent figures, including former MLA Nannapuneni Narender, former KUDA chairmen Marri Yadava Reddy and S. Sunder Raj Yadav, and T. Janardhan Goud, attended the felicitation program.
