    Call for Voluntary Organisations to Support TB Patients in Nalgonda

    On Tuesday, DMHO Dr Kondal Rao and BJP leader Kanmantha Reddy Srievi Reddy distributed Nutrition Kits to TB patients at the Government Hospital in Nalgonda. At the event, Dr Kondal Rao spoke about the importance of collective work in eradicating health problems like TB. He also stated that voluntary organizations should step forward to help TB patients.

    The distribution of Nutrition Kits was attended by Dr Jayaprakash Reddy and Nalgonda DSP Narsimha Reddy. Dr Jayaprakash Reddy emphasized the importance of patients taking nutritional food along with medicines for speedy recovery from TB. Meanwhile, Nalgonda DSP Narasimha Reddy appreciated the efforts of voluntary organization Kanmantha Foundation in helping TB affected women patients. He also urged all departments to work together to make such programs successful.

    BJP leader Kanmantha Reddy Sridevi Reddy explained that their initiative was in response to PM Modi’s call to make the country TB mukt Bharath. She adopted 50 TB affected women and decided to provide nutrient kits for three months. In addition, she advised women to take care of their health in every aspect to keep families and society healthy.

    Finally, IMA Neelagiri president Dr Sucharitha and TB patients participated in the program. It was a commendable effort by all involved to help those affected by TB.
