    Gadwal: Chakravarthi Acharyulu, a well-known priest from Aiza town in Jogulamba Gadwal district, has been chosen for the Dhupa Deepa Naivedyam (DDN) Selection Committee. He is also the current President of the Dhupa Deepa Naivedya Archaka Sangham in the district.

    Sri Vasudeva Sharma, from the State Dhupa Deepa Naivedya Archaka Sangham, expressed thanks to the Endowments Department for trusting Chakravarthi with this role.

    After his appointment, Chakravarthi Acharyulu promised to ensure fairness and transparency in choosing priests for temples statewide. He vowed that the selection process would be free from bias, pledging to review every case thoroughly.

    Chakravarthi also pointed out that many temple priests haven’t been paid for four months. He urged the state government and the Endowments Department to quickly release these overdue salaries to support the priests who continue their duties despite financial struggles.

    His role in the committee is viewed positively, aiming to bring transparency and fairness to temple management and services.
