Hyderabad: Popular actor Allu Arjun, who was granted bail today in connection with the tragic stampede at Sadhya Theatre, might have to spend the night in Chanchalguda Jail. Officials said they have not yet received the necessary bail paperwork, which has caused a delay in his release.
Although the court granted him interim bail, the formalities for completing his release are still pending. Once the required documents are submitted to the authorities, Allu Arjun is expected to be freed from custody.
The delay in the process comes after the Telangana High Court postponed the hearing of the actor’s petition to dismiss the case against him. The next hearing is scheduled for December 21. Meanwhile, his legal team is working to speed up the process so he can be released as soon as possible.
