Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy is starting district tours, beginning with Mahbubnagar where the party had setbacks in the recent Lok Sabha elections. The purpose of these tours is to address political differences within the Congress party and between members who recently joined from BRS. The aim is also to gather feedback on the government’s performance over the past six months.
Revanth wants to resolve political disputes between MLAs, MPs, and MLCs in the districts and promote coordination within the party. He has requested officials to provide reports on the progress of welfare schemes and projects in each district, highlighting reasons for delays in projects started during the BRS regime. The Chief Minister is evaluating the development status of each district and reasons for delays in developmental activities over the past decade.
During his tour, Revanth will meet with district authorities to discuss issues such as improving civic amenities and strengthening local administration. This is crucial for ensuring that government schemes benefit the intended recipients. In Mahbubnagar district, he will participate in day-long meetings and programs organized by the local administration, meet with local leaders, inaugurate Women Shakti Canteens, engage with Congress party members, and interact with the public.
