CM announces plans to develop Hussain Sagar into a world-class tourist center

Hyderabad is planning to turn Hussain Sagar into a top tourist spot, similar to Dubai. Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy wants to develop the area around the lake with skywalks, food stalls, and more. The goal is to create a beautiful and enjoyable tourist destination.

The plan includes improving the entire area from Ambedkar Statue to NTR Park and beyond. Encroachments around Hussain Sagar will be removed to make way for new attractions. The idea is to make the area a place where people from the city can relax and have fun. There may even be changes to traffic flow to enhance the tourist experience.

In addition to the Hussain Sagar project, development of the Outer Ring Road (ORR) and Regional Ring Road (RRR) is also on the agenda. The CM wants these roads to be part of a unified plan for Hyderabad’s growth. Radial roads will connect the ORR to the RRR, with the HMDA limits possibly extending up to the RRR.

To protect land owned by HMDA, digital mapping methods will be used. Special officers will be appointed to ensure the safety and integrity of these lands. Overall, the vision is for Hyderabad to undergo significant development with input from international agencies and a focus on long-term planning.
