BRS, the national president of the Farmers’ Government, is expanding its reach at the national level with the slogan “Now it’s time for the farmer.” The Chief Minister of Telangana and the national president of BRS, K. Chandrasekhar Rao (CM KCR), along with Baburao Maske and Shobha Maske from Chandrapur district in Maharashtra, began a padyatra (foot march) from Hyderabad’s Progress House to the Andugulapet in the Mandamarri mandal of Mancherial district on Tuesday.

They are conducting the padyatra in opposition to the central government’s anti-farmer policies, carrying black flags, and wearing banners to protest against the government. Baburao Maske spoke about the progress and welfare programs being implemented by the Telangana government under CM KCR’s leadership, which have been inspiring for the development of the nation.

They praised CM KCR for his commitment to the welfare of farmers, as well as weaker sections and all sections of society. They also accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi of favoring corporate institutions and neglecting the common people. They alleged that the power opposing Modi lies only with CM KCR and that he should govern not only Telangana but also Maharashtra and the entire country.
