    Hyderabad is preparing to host several international events this year to improve its reputation and attract global attention.

    On Thursday, Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy met with Union External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar to discuss these plans. He sought the central government’s support in organizing major events like Miss World, the Global Deep Tech Summit, the Bharat Summit, and India Joy. Revanth explained that these events would help establish Telangana as a center for the entertainment industry while also bringing in global leaders and artists. He also pointed out that such initiatives could encourage significant investments in the state.

    The Chief Minister requested diplomatic and logistical support to ensure the smooth execution of these events in Hyderabad. Additionally, he urged Jaishankar to promote the “Telangana Rising” initiative in India’s international programs.

    According to official sources, Jaishankar praised Revanth for his efforts in making Telangana one of the fastest-growing states. He assured his full support in hosting these international events.

    During the meeting, the Chief Minister also discussed the phone-tapping case. He informed Jaishankar about the delays in arresting key officials, including former DIG Intelligence Prabhakar Rao, who is currently living abroad. Revanth requested the Union Minister’s help in extraditing the accused to speed up the investigation.

    He further mentioned that some senior BRS leaders, including former Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao and former Minister T Harish Rao, were allegedly involved in the case.
