Chief Minister Revanth Reddy officially inaugurated the Moosa Ram Bagh Hi-Level Bridge in Hyderabad, marking a significant infrastructure development for the city. The 400-meter-long bridge was constructed at a cost of Rs 52 crores to improve connectivity and address flooding concerns in the area. The inauguration ceremony witnessed the presence of several prominent political leaders and senior government officials who gathered to celebrate this major infrastructure achievement.
The newly inaugurated bridge has been specifically designed with advanced engineering standards to withstand extreme weather conditions. According to the project specifications, the structure can handle flood situations even if the Musi River experiences water flow of up to 1.5 lakh cusecs without any structural hindrance. This robust design ensures uninterrupted connectivity during monsoon seasons when the river typically experiences heavy water flow, addressing long-standing concerns of residents in the surrounding areas.
The bridge significantly enhances connectivity between Amberpet and Moosa Ram Bagh, two important localities in Hyderabad. This improved infrastructure is expected to ease traffic congestion and reduce travel time for thousands of commuters who traverse this route daily. The development comes as part of the government’s broader initiative to modernize urban infrastructure and improve transportation networks across the city.
The inauguration ceremony saw participation from several key political figures including Government advisor V. Hanumantha Rao, Member of Parliament Asaduddin Owaisi, MP Anil Kumar Yadav, Amberpet MLA Kaleru Venkatesh, Cantonment MLA Sri Ganesh, Jubilee Hills MLA Naveen Yadav, MLA Mal Reddy Ranga Reddy, and former MP Madhu Yaskhi. Senior government officials from various departments also attended the event to witness the commissioning of this important infrastructure project.
