    District Collector Sandeep Kumar Jha visited colonies in Sircilla on Monday. He told municipal officials to prevent water-logging in low-lying areas to avoid waterborne diseases. He checked Sri Nagar Colony, Shanti Nagar, and Padmanagar with Municipal Commissioner Lavanya.

    During the inspection, Jha noticed floodwater in Padmanagar ETP, Srinagar Colony, and Shanti Nagar. He gave suggestions to clear drains of garbage and ensure smooth flow of flood water. Jha stressed the importance of a well-planned approach to the work.

    The team involved in the inspection included Dy. EE Prasad, AE Swamy, Technical Officer Venkatesh, TPS Vinay, Naveen, and others. Jha directed authorities to take necessary steps to prevent waterborne diseases in Sircilla town.
