The District Election Officer and District Collector, Ila Tripathi, met with representatives of various political parties in Mulugu district to discuss the upcoming MLC election. The polling for the Warangal-Khammam-Nalgonda Graduate MLC elections will take place on May 27 from 8 am to 4 pm, with the counting process scheduled for June 5. A total of 52 candidates are contesting in the by-election for graduates.
Unlike general elections, there will be no mock polling for this election. The polling box will be opened and shown to polling agents to ensure it is empty before voting begins. Videography will be conducted during this process. It is important to follow these procedures as the election code is in effect, prohibiting hateful remarks against caste and religious communities. Those spreading false campaigns will face severe consequences.
In Mulugu district, there are 17 polling centers established for the election. There are a total of 10,299 graduate voters in the district, with 6,587 male voters and 3,712 female voters eligible to cast their votes.
