Nagar Kurnool:
Nagarkurnool District Collector Badavath Santosh conducted a routine inspection of the EVM Godown near Kollapur Crossroad on Thursday. The visit was part of a regular process to ensure the safety and security of election-related materials.
During the inspection, the Collector, along with representatives from various recognized political parties, checked the seals on the godown. He also examined the ballot units, control units, VVPATs, and other election materials stored there using CCTV monitoring.
The Collector reviewed the police security arrangements at the godown and instructed officials to take all necessary precautions to protect the electronic voting machines. He stressed that the inspection was aimed at ensuring transparency and security in the election process.
Ravi Kumar, Superintendent of the Election Department, accompanied the Collector during the visit. Representatives of political parties, including Mohammad Hussain, Balakrishna, and Ramakrishna, were also present.
