Hyderabad: Congress leader Md Feroz Khan has pointed out that despite the Election Commission’s efforts to clean up the voter list, there are still 6.64 lakh bogus or duplicate voters in the electoral rolls of Hyderabad Parliamentary constituency. He is demanding that these voters be removed before the Lok Sabha polls.

Feroz Khan, who lost in the Nampally constituency by a small margin, believes that he lost because of these bogus votes. He plans to reveal the true situation of the Hyderabad segment, which includes areas like Malakpet, Karwan, and Charminar, with a total of 22 lakh voters.

According to data collected by Feroz Khan from GHMC and the District Electoral Officer, there are some unusual statistics regarding voters in the constituency. For example, there are 1,74,990 “single voters” (only one voter at a particular address) and 680 houses with more than 50 registered voters, totaling 53,991 voters.

Feroz Khan expressed doubts about the officials’ claims that the cleansing process involved removing dead, duplicate, and shifted voters. There are also 2,88,956 “shifted voters,” 15,025 “dead voters,” and 23,045 “non-standard house numbers” in addition to over 22 lakh voters with un-assessed house numbers.
