Hyderabad witnessed a significant event as the Congress party teamed up with the Telangana Overseas Manpower Company Ltd. (TOMCOM) to start an overseas job recruitment drive aimed at empowering Muslim youth economically.
On Monday, many job seekers gathered at the Siasat Auditorium in Hyderabad, eager to explore work opportunities in Japan, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, and Fiji. Amer Ali Khan, a Member of the Legislative Council and Siasat News Editor, highlighted the recent partnership between the Siasat Hub Foundation (S-Hub) and TOMCOM as a breakthrough in organized overseas recruitment. He explained that the Telangana Government, via TOMCOM, is now actively finding overseas job openings and assisting in the hiring process. “This initiative goes beyond sending people abroad; it’s about creating a path to economic stability,” said Khan.
He further mentioned that S-Hub and TOMCOM have formalized their collaboration through a Memorandum of Understanding to conduct more such events, guiding young individuals towards reliable international job prospects. The screening event attracted professionals from diverse fields, including IT, Computer Science, Civil and Mechanical Engineering, and other technical sectors.
Khan also promised to broaden S-Hub’s collaborations with additional government departments to ensure that deserving students and unemployed youth can access both national and international job networks.
