    The Congress party in Telangana is intensifying its political strategy in an effort to come to power. The Congress Screening Committee met in Delhi to finalize the candidates, and will hold another meeting on Thursday. Meanwhile, the party has decided to appoint two more senior leaders, MP Komatireddy Venkat Reddy and Madhuyashki Goud, to the Congress Election Screening Committee.

    Currently, MP Muralidharan is the Chairman of the Committee, which also includes Gujarat MLA Jignesh Mevani, Baba Siddiqui, TPCC president Revanth Reddy, CLP leader Bhatti Vikramarka, and MP Uttam Kumar Reddy. With a total of 1016 Congress leaders applying to contest in the 119 constituencies in Telangana, the screening committee will carefully select candidates from a list of 300. The final list will then be approved by the Central Election Committee of the party.

    The Congress leadership has assured that they will prioritize justice for those who have been struggling, while also considering the chances of winning and social equations in the selection of candidates. CLP leader Bhatti Vikramarka has announced that a bus yatra will be organized soon if this approach is followed. However, former MP Madhuyashki Goud clarified that not all willing candidates will receive tickets, but they will be given priority in party positions and respected when the Congress forms government in the State.
