The Congress party has reached out to different political parties for support in the upcoming MLC elections. On Wednesday, PCC president B Mahesh Kumar Goud sent letters to CPI, CPM, and TJS, asking them to support Congress candidate V Narender Reddy. The election is for the Karimnagar – Nizamabad – Adilabad – Medak Graduates’ constituency.

Mahesh Kumar Goud urged these parties to unite against the BJP. In his letter, he stated that defeating the BJP in the MLC polls would also weaken the BRS, which previously ruled in an autocratic manner. He emphasized that the current Congress government is working according to the people’s aspirations and socialist principles. He also requested party leaders to ensure their entire cadre supports the Congress candidate.

Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy is also closely watching the results, as they could impact the upcoming local body elections. He hopes that Congress will see positive results in at least 42 Assembly constituencies.
