Telangana Agriculture Minister Singireddy Niranjan Reddy criticized Congress leader Bhatti Vikramarka for spreading false information about the Palamuru Rangareddy Lift Irrigation Project. Minister Niranjan Reddy accused Congress of delaying the project and designing it poorly. He claimed that the Congress party planned to draw water from a 6 TMC capacity project instead of a 263 TMC capacity project. Additionally, Congress leaders filed cases in court to obstruct the project while allowing illegal water drawing from the Krishna river.

Minister Niranjan Reddy stated that the current government completed Kalwakurthy, Nettempadu, and Bheema projects and is providing irrigation water to agriculture fields from the Jurala project in the combined Mahabubnagar district. He emphasized that Congress leaders have no right to speak about the projects and assured that the present government is committed to finishing the Palamuru Rangareddy Lift Irrigation Project as soon as possible.
