Following Suneetha, former Mayor Teegala Krishna Reddy and others from BRS and BJP in Maheshwaram constituency also joined the Congress. Krishna Reddy’s move is seen as significant, especially as he had previously supported a different candidate in the elections.
In Bandlaguda Jagir Municipality, BRS Mayor Burra Mahendar Goud recently joined the Congress, despite facing a no-confidence motion from Opposition councilors. His decision is seen as a potential threat to other leaders in the area.
Leaders in Rajendranagar are concerned about Goud’s allegiance to the Congress and its impact on Kasturi Narendar’s career. Meanwhile, speculation surrounds BRS legislator Kale Yadiah’s possible migration to the Congress, following a meeting with CM Revanth Reddy.
MLC Mahendar Reddy is yet to announce his stance, but his distance from BRS since his wife’s switch to Congress suggests a potential shift. MLA Prakash Goud is also being watched closely after meeting with the CM, given his close ties with Mahendar Reddy.
