    The District Congress Committee (DCC) president of Mahabubnagar, G Madhusudhan Reddy (GMR), has voiced the party’s commitment to work for the welfare of all sections of society in India. Speaking at the Haath-Se-Haath Jodo programme in the 32nd and 33rd wards of TD Gutta region in the district headquarters, GMR promised that if the Congress party is voted to power in the 2024 elections, it will ensure justice to all sections and focus on poverty alleviation and development programmes.

    During the programme, GMR and local leaders Fakruddin Khureshi and Ashu visited colony residents and explained the failures of both the state and central governments. They conveyed the message of Rahul Gandhi and the Congress party’s action plan for the development of all sections in Telangana.

    GMR criticized the government’s failure to provide double bedroom houses, alleging that they were only sanctioned to BRS activists. He also condemned the anti-people policies of both Chief Minister KCR and Prime Minister Modi, highlighting the skyrocketing prices of essential commodities that burden the poor and middle-class people in the country. He reiterated the party’s promise to reduce LPG prices to Rs 500 per cylinder and provide Rs 5 lakh financial assistance for the construction of houses.

    TPCC general secretary Sanjive Mudiraj, Chandrakumar Goud, District Women Congress president Vasanta, and others were present during the programme. GMR’s speech emphasized the Congress party’s commitment to working for the welfare of all sections of society, promising specific poverty alleviation and development programmes if voted to power in 2024.
