The birth anniversary of Gaddam Venkatswamy, a former Union Minister and senior leader of the Indian National Congress (INC), was observed today at the Cyberabad Police Commissionerate. The event was held as a State function.
Cyberabad ADCP Admin, Ravichandan Reddy, along with other officers, paid their respects to G. Venkatswamy by garlanding his portrait and offering floral tributes.
Gaddam Venkatswamy was born on October 5, 1929. He served as a Member of Parliament in the 14th Lok Sabha, representing the Peddapalli constituency. Venkatswamy played an important role in the formation of the state of Telangana.
