Hyderabad: To keep traffic moving smoothly during the Ganesh Idol Immersion, the Cyberabad police have announced a new traffic plan around the immersion sites in the Cyberabad Police Commissionerate area.
Only Ganesh procession vehicles can use IDL Tank Road from the IDL Entrance to Rainbow Vista. Vehicles traveling from Kukatpally Y Junction to Madhapur via IDL Tank Road will be redirected at the IDL Tank Entrance towards JNTU, Forum Mall, and then to Hitech City and Madhapur. Traffic from Hitech City and Madhapur heading to Kukatpally Y Junction will be rerouted via 4th Phase KPHB Road No 1, Remedy Hospital U-turn, to Kukatpally Y Junction.
Drivers coming from Gandimaisamma and Pragathi Nagar going to JNTU will be diverted at Pragathi Nagar through Nizampet Village, 191 Sy No. Colony Road, and Nizampet Road to reach JNTU. Vehicles from JNTU to Pragathi Nagar Colony will be redirected at Sreenivasa Steel (Tulasinagar) via Konaseema Hotel Road, Kolan Raghava Reddy Gardens, and Nizampet Village to Pragathi Nagar.
Heavy trucks from Patancheruvu will be rerouted at BHEL Junction through Tara Nagar Market, Tellapur, and Gopanpally. Vehicles from Gandimaisamma X Road to Balanagar will be diverted at Bahadurpally Junction. They should turn left towards Dulapally Village Junction, pass through JETL (Jeedimetla Effluent Treatment Limited), and continue to Balanagar. From Balanagar to Gandimaisamma, vehicles will be redirected at Suraram Junction. They should turn left towards Suraram Village, go via Bowrampet Junction (Snake Park), and proceed to Gandimaisamma Junction.
The route from Budwel Extension to Himayat Sagar tollgate will be closed for regular traffic. Vehicles from Gachibowli to Aramghar, Durganagar, Chandrayangutta, and LB Nagar should use Exit-17, take a right at Exit-17 onto Himayathsagar Road, pass by Chennamma Hotel, HUDA Colony, Simplex, Sathamrai, Gaganpahad, turn right under OKR Under Bridge, and continue through Kattedan, Durganagar, towards Chandrayangutta.
Traffic from LB Nagar and Chandrayangutta to Gachibowli should go straight at Aramghar Underpass-PDP, pass through Durganagar, take a left at OKR, and continue via Gaganpahad, Sathamrai, Simplex, and go right at Shamshabad Vegetable Market onto Kothwalguda Bridge, and proceed through HUDA Colony, Chennamma Hotel, Himayathsagar Bund Road, Exit-17, and head towards Gachibowli.
Drivers from Gachibowli to Aramghar, Durganagar, Chandrayangutta, and LB Nagar using the ORR from Exit-17 should take Exit-16, travel via Shamshabad, Sathamrai, Gaganpahad, turn right under OKR Under Bridge, and proceed to Kattedan, Durganagar, and towards Chandrayangutta / LB Nagar.
The police urge residents to follow this traffic plan and cooperate with the Traffic Police to maintain smooth traffic flow.
