    District Collector Kumar Deepak highlighted the importance of environmental protection and climate balance during the Vana Mahotsavam program at the Collectorate in Naspur. He emphasized that it is everyone’s responsibility to take care of the environment.

    During the event, District Collector Kumar Deepak was joined by Additional Collector (Revenue) Sabawat Motilal, Singareni Srirampur Area GM Sanjeeva Reddy, district officials, and students. Together, they planted saplings on the premises to contribute to environmental sustainability.

    District Collector Kumar Deepak acknowledged the vital role that plants play in maintaining life, protecting the environment, balancing the climate, and providing clean natural resources for future generations. He urged everyone to do their part in preserving plants.

    As part of the Vana Mahotsavam program, the government has allocated saplings to various departments in the district. 20 lakh saplings have been allocated to the district rural development department, 7 lakh to the Singareni organization, 9 lakh to the forest department, 7.50 lakh to municipalities, and 1 lakh to other departments.
