The Telangana Drugs Control Administration (DCA) raided an unlicensed godown in New Nagole, Uppal mandal, and seized medicines worth Rs 3.50 lakhs. The godown, owned by Salla Santosh, was found selling medicines without a pharmacy license. The facility had no TSDCA license to sell drugs.

Officials discovered eight varieties of medicines, including antibiotics, syrups, and vitamins, during the raid. Samples were taken for analysis. In a separate raid at Bluten Pharmacy in Pet Basheerabad, vitency capsules were seized. These capsules, claiming to be food products, lacked a valid drug license.

The capsules were manufactured by Knox Life Sciences and marketed by Axenic Healthcare without proper authorization. Selling drugs without a valid license can lead to imprisonment for up to five years. The DCA warned about the dangers of such products and urged compliance with drug regulations.
