Nizamabad: Arya Vaishyas need to make strides in politics, according to MLA Dhanpal Suryanarayana. He emphasized the importance of their political growth during the Arya Vaishya Urban Association’s victory celebration at Sri Rama Garden on Sunday.
Suryanarayana praised the Arya Vaishya Sangh’s legacy, which began in 1944. He noted their leading role in society through services like food distribution, education, healthcare, and spirituality. The MLA highlighted their economic contributions, including paying 80% of taxes, and commended their involvement in government welfare schemes.
He acknowledged that, even after 76 years of independence, upper caste poverty hasn’t been addressed until BJP and Modi introduced a 10% EWS reservation for them.
Suryanarayana congratulated the newly elected members, urging the president and executive committee to honor their election promises and advance the association’s development.
Participants included former MLA Bigala Ganesh Gupta, former Municipal Chairman Mukka Devender Gupta, Arya Vaishya Urban Sangha President Dhanpal Srinivas Gupta, General Secretary Illendula Prabhakar, and other association leaders.
