Distribution of 2-BHK houses to commence next month

The Telangana government will start distributing double bedroom houses in GHMC from the first week of August. They plan to provide about 70,000 houses to the poor by October. The construction of one lakh houses by the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation is almost complete. The GHMC has prepared a schedule for the distribution of 2 BHK houses that are already completed. The selection of beneficiaries will be carried out in a transparent manner with the support of the Revenue department. Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao has instructed GHMC officials to ensure that deserving beneficiaries receive the houses without any political interference. The distribution will start in August and continue until October. More than 65,000 completed houses will be provided to the poor, and additional houses in the final stage of construction may also be included.
