Hyderabad: BJP National Vice President, DK Aruna, criticized the police for putting BJP leaders under house arrest. She argued that it was unfair and unnecessary, as there were no law and order issues when the leaders were only inspecting 2BHK houses in Batasingaram. She sarcastically pointed out that they did not carry any weapons or arms that would warrant their arrest.
Similarly, Eatala objected to the arrest of BJP leaders who were also going to inspect double bedroom houses. He emphasized that in a democracy, everyone has the right to protest. He accused the State government of frequently detaining opposition leaders and stated that it has become their habit.
Eatala added that it is their responsibility to bring the people’s problems to the government’s attention, but Chief Minister KCR is behaving tyrannically. He asserted that their struggle will continue even if they are placed under house arrest.
