DK Aruna, the National Vice President of the BJP party, held a protest in Gadwal demanding double bedroom houses for all eligible individuals in the state. She criticized the BRS party and Chief Minister KCR for failing to fulfill their promises, specifically the construction of double bedroom houses. Aruna claimed that only BRS leaders and their supporters were benefiting from these houses while the real poor and eligible people were being neglected.
Aruna urged Chief Minister KCR to fulfill all his election promises, including the construction of double bedroom houses for every eligible person in Telangana. She highlighted other unfulfilled promises such as monthly unemployment aid, one job per family, 3 acres of land for Dalits, and waiver of agricultural loans up to Rs. 1 lakh for farmers.
She also mentioned that during her tenure as a minister in the Congress party regime, poor people were given land pattas for their house sites. However, the BRS government took back these plots, promising double bedroom houses but failing to deliver. Aruna demanded that the government return the land pattas and begin constructing double bedroom houses for those affected.
Aruna criticized KCR and the BRS party for making false promises during elections and then forgetting them once elected. She also accused the state government of using false cases and imprisonment to silence anyone who speaks out against them.
