Doctor from Karimnagar receives Best Poster Award at TOSOCON

Dr. Saket Athreya, a senior resident in Orthopaedics PG final year at Prathima Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS), has recently won multiple awards at the eighth annual conference of Telangana Orthopaedic Surgeons Association conference (TOSOCON) held in Warangal. He was awarded the best poster award and the second prize in the quiz competition, showcasing his exceptional skills and knowledge in the field of orthopedics.

In addition, Dr. Saket had previously received a gold medal for his outstanding paper presentation at the Hyderabad conference of the Telangana Orthopaedic Association in March 2022. His achievements have brought great pride and honor to the orthopedic department and the institution as a whole.

Dr. Achanta Vivekanand, the dean of PIMS, expressed his congratulations to Dr. Saket for his remarkable accomplishments. Dr. Motilal, Prof HOD Orthopaedics, Dr. Srinivas Reddy professor, Dr. Abhilash associate professor, and Dr. Varun associate professor, along with all resident doctors, also felicitated Dr. Athreya at PIMS.
