Dr Vishal Akula, a psychiatrist from Nizamabad, attended a conference in Kolkata called the World Psychiatric Association Regional Congress 2023 from April 14 to 16. The conference was organized by the World Psychiatric Association.
During the conference, Dr Akula spoke about new teaching methods and the importance of developing leadership skills to advance in one’s career. He shared his insights with the delegates who attended the conference.
Other notable members of the Indian Psychiatric Society also attended the conference and gave talks. These members included Dr Arabinda Brahma, who is the general secretary of IPS, Dr Minhajzafar, who is the vice president of IPS Telangana, and Dr Phanikanth, who is the general secretary of Hyderabad Psychiatric Society.
Overall, it was a valuable opportunity for psychiatrists to come together and share their knowledge and experiences.
