In Sripuram village, Aruna Devi inaugurated a rice grain purchase center set up by Gram Samaykya Mahila Sangham. She encouraged farmers to take advantage of the center.
Farmers visiting the center are advised to ensure low moisture content and no mold in their grains. Out of 104 purchase centers in the district, 40 were opened on Thursday for purchases to begin.
The setup of the centers was designed to provide convenience for farmers without any sunlight interference. APM Prabhakar, CCs committee members, village residents, and farmers participated in the program.
