Drug awareness event held at Sultan-ul-Uloom Junior College

Hyderabad: The Hyderabad Narcotics Enforcement Wing (H-NEW) organized an awareness event at Sultan-ul-Uloom Junior College in Banjara Hills. This event aimed to teach students about the risks of drug use and to encourage a lifestyle free from drugs.

Y V S Sudheendra, Deputy Commissioner of Police, spoke to the students. He discussed the dangers of drug abuse and offered advice on avoiding negative influences in schools.

He warned that drug abuse can harm students’ futures and explained the legal issues involved. He urged students not to be tempted by drugs and to avoid friendships that lead to substance use.

Dr Anupama Koneru, Principal of the college, along with the college management, praised this initiative. They believe such programs help students make smart choices, understand the risks of drug abuse, and adopt healthier lifestyles.
