Drug Racket in Choutuppal Busted by Telangana Police; Seizure of Drugs Valued at Rs. 7.92 Lakh Made

Police in Choutuppal have arrested two people in connection with a drug peddling operation. They seized drugs, including MDMA and cocaine, worth around Rs. 7.92 lakhs. Sayan Lahoti and Edmund Dilip Sencer Pereira were both arrested. Lahoti has been involved in the illegal drug business for three years in Goa, while Pereira is a main drug smuggler. Lahoti bought drugs from Pereira and then sold them at higher prices to consumers in Goa and other places. The police made the arrest at Ashoka Engineering College, acting on a tip-off. The operation was overseen by Shri Devendra Singh Chouhan IPS Commissioner of Police, Rachakonda Police Commissionerate.
