Residents of Edupayala village were frightened when a 72-year-old man named Vadde Hanumanthu was discovered dead in the Ghanpur Anicut near the Sri Vana Durga Bhavani Temple. Hanumanthu had left his home in Yellampally village to visit the Edupayala Temple on Sunday but never came back. He was found floating in the water by locals on Monday.
