Eleven fake doctors in Nzmd face trouble with TGMC

Telangana Medical Council Takes Action Against Fake Doctors in Nizamabad

The Telangana Medical Council (TGMC) has uncovered 11 cases of fake doctors operating in the unified Nizamabad district. Following inspections carried out in December, four of these individuals have already been taken into custody by the Dichpally police.

According to Dr. G Srinivas, the vice chairman of TGMC, the accused individuals lacked the necessary qualifications to practice allopathic medicine, which requires a minimum of an MBBS degree. He explained, “Practicing modern medicine without proper qualifications is a punishable offense, with penalties including up to one year in prison and a fine of up to Rs five lakh.”

Legal action has been initiated under multiple sections, including 319(2), 318(4) BNS (Bharatiya Nyay Sanhita), 20(ii), r/w 22 TMPR, 34, and 54 of the NMC Act.

The accused include individuals such as Boddu Venkat Reddy from Sai Srinivasa First Aid Centre, V Suresh from Gauri Shankar First Aid Centre, and M Prakash from Venkata Sai First Aid Centre, all under Banswada police jurisdiction. In the Dichpally area, the accused include R Rajasekhar from Manasa Hospital, M Venkateswar from Manikantha First Aid Centre, S Dhattadri from Prashanth Clinic, and Goli Sandeep from Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Clinic.

Among those already remanded are Kanula Gangadhar of Sri Sai Ganga Clinic (Indalvai police station), Sura Mahesh Kumar of Sura First Aid Centre (Mukpal police station, Manchippal village), M Vittal Singh of Pragati First Aid Centre, and Mallesham of Chandana Clinic (Nizamabad fifth town police station).

The TGMC has urged the public to report any cases of fake doctors or quackery. Victims can file complaints by sharing the prescription, details of the fake doctor, and their address via email at antiquackerytsmc@onlinetsmc.in or WhatsApp at 9154382727. The TGMC has assured that all complainants’ details will be kept confidential.
