RANGAREDDY: Orchid International School, located on the city’s outskirts, held an ‘Investiture Event’ aimed at enhancing students’ learning skills, responsibility, and leadership qualities. This initiative is designed to help students develop abilities that can guide them toward successful careers.
Students participated in an activity where they learned about voting and the democratic process of electing leaders. Nagamani Athmuri, the school’s Principal, explained that through this process, students chose their peers as council members.
The students experienced the voting process firsthand, taking on various roles typically involved in elections. They successfully elected 18 council members, comprising both boys and girls. These elected members were then assigned roles such as line discipline head, cultural head, and event head.
Captain R Arun Kumar, an international handball player, attended the event. He awarded badges to the students who participated in the election process.
