    In Bhadradri Kothagudem District, police have found booby traps set up by CPI-Maoists in areas where adivasis live. These traps were aimed at harming security forces in the border areas of Telangana and Chhattisgarh states. The traps were discovered in the Poosuguppa forest area in Charla Mandal, and a total of 70 traps were dismantled by the police.

    The sharp iron rods from these traps were removed by digging holes and seizing them. Additional SP Operations T.Sai Manohar and Bhadrachalam ASP Paritosh Pankaj IPS expressed concern about the safety of tribal people living in these border areas. They warned the adivasi community to stay alert due to the danger posed by the Maoists.

    Recently, a man named Yesu from Jagannadhapuram village in Venkatapuram area of Mulugu district died in an explosion caused by a fire pit set up by the Maoists. The district police are committed to ensuring the welfare and development of tribal people living in these border areas of Telangana and Chhattisgarh states.
