Nagar Kurnool District Farmer Producer Organization held a Mango Mela event in New Delhi. The event showcased Kollapur mangoes, which have good demand and marketing opportunities in Delhi. District Horticulture and Silk Industry Officer Chakrapani mentioned that the event was attended by officials like Gaurav Uppal from Telangana Bhawan and Babu Vijaya Prasad from Hyderabad Horticulture Department.
Park officer Kamala highlighted that the mango fair was organized specifically to promote Kollapur mangoes in Delhi. By participating in the fair, the farmer producer company was able to sell their mangoes at a higher price than usual, ensuring profitability for the farmers. The event was attended by directors of the Farmer Producer Company, mango farmers, and other participants.
