Fatal Road Accident Claims 5 Lives in Warangal

Five people were killed and two others were seriously injured in an accident on the Warangal-Khammam highway near Illanda, under Wardhannapet mandal. The accident happened when a speeding lorry hit the auto-rickshaw they were traveling in. Reports suggest that the lorry driver was drunk and driving on the wrong side of the road. The collision was so severe that the bodies of the victims became trapped in the mangled auto-rickshaw.
