The Federation of Indian Export Organisations (FIEO) will conduct a comprehensive two-day certificate program focused on export opportunities and starting an export business. The program is scheduled for 6th and 7th August, 2026 at Hyderabad, aimed at equipping participants with essential knowledge for succeeding in international markets.
The program has been designed to cater to both beginners entering the export sector and experienced professionals seeking to enhance their expertise. Participants will gain practical knowledge on various aspects of export business including procedures, documentation, compliance requirements, trade finance, GST regulations, and export incentives available to businesses.
The curriculum will cover critical topics such as product and market selection, identification of foreign buyers, Free Trade Agreements (FTAs) and recent developments in international trade, along with credit risk management strategies. The comprehensive training aims to provide participants with a complete understanding of the export ecosystem and the tools needed to navigate global markets successfully.
According to Mr. Unnikrishnan K., Joint Director General, FIEO, the program will be highly beneficial for businesses looking to expand internationally. It will provide detailed understanding on compliance requirements, export documentation procedures, and market entry strategies, including information about government support and financial incentives available to exporters.
A key feature of the program includes interactive sessions with officials from banks and the Export Credit Guarantee Corporation (ECGC). This will provide participants with direct access to financial experts and enable them to understand credit facilities and risk mitigation instruments available for export businesses.
All participants who successfully complete the two-day program will receive a certificate from FIEO.
