Singareni Chairman and Managing Director N. Sridhar has been transferred by the government. He has been ordered to report to the general administration department. Singareni Finance Director N. Balaram will now take on additional responsibilities as CMD in his place.
Sridhar had been serving as Singareni CMD since January 1, 2015, making him the longest-serving person in the organization’s history, with a tenure of 9 years. However, the government of Telangana decided to transfer him, recognizing the importance of having a change in leadership after a long period.
