The Sunkesula reservoir in Rajoli, part of the Jogulamba Gadwal district, is experiencing a significant increase in water flow. This surge is due to the large amount of water released from the Tungabhadra dam. As of Sunday, the reservoir received an inflow of 48,000 cusecs.

To manage this, officials have opened 12 gates by one meter. This action releases 47,800 cusecs of water towards the Srisailam reservoir. The current water level at Srisailam stands at 290.60 meters, nearing its full capacity of 292 meters.
