Asifabad, Telangana – District Collector Venkatesh Dotre has called for stronger efforts to maintain and protect the plants at the nursery managed by the Ada Gram Panchayat in Asifabad mandal.
During an inspection on Friday, the Collector, along with District Rural Development Officer Datta Rao, visited the nursery to check its condition. He stressed the importance of watering the plants regularly to keep them healthy. He also instructed officials to install proper barriers to stop cattle from entering and damaging the plants.
After the nursery visit, the Collector went to the Primary Health Centre in the village. There, he checked hospital wards and reviewed staff attendance records. He firmly stated that doctors and other hospital staff must not skip duty without prior approval. He also reminded them to treat all patients with respect and care.
Focusing on maternal health, the Collector said that pregnant women coming for monthly check-ups should be transported using ambulances. He emphasized the need for regular medical tests, a healthy diet, and timely medication to ensure the well-being of both mothers and babies.
In addition, he visited the construction site of a community toilet complex being built under the Rurban scheme. He instructed officials to closely monitor the work and ensure it is completed and ready for use by the first week of June.
The visit was attended by Mandal Parishad Development Officer Srinivas, medical staff, and other local officials.
