Government to Promote Sports in Telangana

Moinabad: Former MP AP Jitender Reddy, who is the special representative of the Telangana government in New Delhi and an advisor on sports affairs, has said that the government will support sports by organizing various competitions across the state.

The World Arena Polo Championship 2025 began on Monday at the Hyderabad Polo Riding Club. Jitender Reddy attended the event as the chief guest and inaugurated the competition. Athletes from eight different countries are participating in the equestrian event.

Speaking at the event, Jitender Reddy mentioned that the government is making efforts to develop sports tourism in Telangana. He also noted that these equestrian competitions are being held under the leadership of Chaitanya, the owner of the Hyderabad Polo Riding Club.
