Bakrid was celebrated with devotion across Karimnagar district on Monday, with crowded places of prayer. After mass prayers, devotees listened to religious messages at locations like Raykurti Saleh Nagar and Chintakunta. Traffic police ensured security at mosques, monitoring vehicular traffic from SSR College to Eidgah.

Special arrangements were made by the municipal corporation, with supervision from the Electricity and Medical Health departments. Sadr Qazi Mankhabat Shah Khan led the Namaz at Saleh Nagar Eidgah, while Mufti Mohammad Ghiyas Mohiuddin delivered a message highlighting the significance of the Bakrid festival.

Mohiuddin emphasized the festival as a symbol of sacrifice, continuing a tradition that commemorates sacrifices from thousands of years ago. Festival prayers were also held in various towns and mandals across the district. Some Muslims invited non-Muslim friends to share the joy by serving traditional dishes.
