Mancherial: Labour Minister Gaddam Vivekananda officially opened the renovated Mandal Parishad Primary School in Kakatiya Colony of Mandamarri Mandal on Saturday.
Minister Vivekananda, along with District Collector Kumar Deepak, DCP A Bhaskar, and District Education Officer S Yadayya, handed out school bags and books to students. The students also took part in the Vanamahotsavam event held at the school.
In his speech, Vivekananda mentioned the government’s dedication to improving education and healthcare. He highlighted efforts to enhance government schools by providing quality education and upgrading hospitals and health centers to deliver better medical care.
The Minister also participated in a ration card distribution event on the school grounds. He was joined by Mandal Tahsildar Satish Kumar and Kyathanpalli Municipal Commissioner Raju.
Vivekananda stressed the significance of education in people’s lives. He noted that the government, through the Amma Adarsha Schools Committee, is focused on equipping schools with necessary facilities like drinking water, electricity, and toilets. He also assured that qualified teachers are being appointed to ensure high standards of education.
