Gadwal: The Aija police have arrested five people for taking part in online betting. This action was taken after the Special Branch police received important information about the illegal activities.
Following orders from District SP T Srinivasa Rao, and under the guidance of Special Branch Inspector Nageshwar Reddy, a team was formed. The team was led by Ijay Sub-Inspector Vijay Bhaskar, who closely monitored the situation.
During the operation, the police found the individuals involved in online betting. They seized Rs 1,04,860 in cash and five mobile phones from them. Afterward, Sub-Inspector Vijay Bhaskar registered a case against the accused at the Ijay police station.
