The Telangana Gazetted Officers’ Association has asked Chief Secretary Santhi Kumari to address issues with the payment of officials who worked during the Lok Sabha elections. The association also presented other requests in a meeting with the CS.

Some of the demands included getting rid of the contributory pension scheme, bringing back the old pension system, and establishing a health scheme for employees with equal contributions from both employees and pensioners. They also asked for pending DA payments to be released, special permission for retiring employees in May to be promoted, and the ban on employee transfers from 2018 to be lifted.

They also asked for land for house-sites in Gopanpally to be allocated, for Ranga Reddy district collectorate employees to receive 24% HRA, and for an increase in IR from 5% to 20%.
